about

Hobo, the cleverly titled full length by four piece pop rock band Hobo, was recorded in Berkeley, California in 1991 and '92. Producer Matthew King Kaufman of Beserkley Records fame, produced the record while on hiatus from trainspotting in Siberia.

Singer-Guitarist Eric Din, Singer-Keyboardist Paul Jackson, and Bassist-Motorcyclist Ben Eastwood, continue to play together in the popular ska band, The Uptones.

Drummer Tom Pope, who according to the Bandcamp FAQ, may be qualified to operate this website, currently resides in Brooklyn where he plays with some notable bands including Les Sans Culotte. He no longer eats beans.

Track Name: It Takes Money
The rich are gettin richer, the poor is gettin poorer,
It’s all part of a master plan,
There’s so much dirty money, dirty dirty money,
You don’t get to get it, don’t you understand?

It takes money, to make money
It takes money, to make money

The suckers in the office, they pulled a fast one,
Seems like they always come out ahead,
All ya peopl workin, just keep on workin,
When it's all over just go to bed,

It takes money, to make money
It takes money, to make money

Go down to the bank, get on your knees,
Mr. banker, I’m beggin you please,
I need some cash, for food in the pot,
Give me a little and I’ll pay you back a lot,

It takes money, to make money
It takes money, to make money
